“Darlin’” by AINM: Your soundtrack for a walk on a rocky beach

Yesterday marked the release of “Darlin’”, a beautiful, vivid piece that feels exactly right for a cold February morning.

AINM started their DIY recording journey back in 2019, which was soon paused by COVID. Since then, they’ve been playing shows and recently crowdfunded the completion of their debut EP. The band blend elements of trip-hop, electronica and rock, resulting in a dreamy yet bright soundscape – a perfect companion for an earphone moment while walking along a rocky beach.

“Darlin’” is bedroom pop at its core, but it sounds fresh and crisp, with enough presence and drive to avoid being left in the “background music” drawer. Not to mention, it’s a natural fit for IndieWave FM’s Bedroom Dream Pop playlist.
